Administration Centre SBS/Social Sciences
Personnel, PhD & Finance is part of the shared administrative centre that supports both SDU Business School and The Faculty of Social Sciences. We work to create the best possible administrative framework for research, education and leadership, enabling researchers to focus on research, lecturers to teach, students to study, and management to lead.
The unit works closely with departments, dean’s offices and the other units within ABSS, as well as stakeholders outside SDU Business School, The Faculty of Social Sciences and SDU.
As a unit, we work closely with the faculties’ strategic priorities by translating them into concrete actions in our daily operations. This means ensuring efficient and transparent processes within finance, HR and the PhD area, providing accurate data and decision-making support for management, and developing workflows that make it easier for researchers, lecturers and students to succeed.
We apply the principles of excellent professional communities by actively involving users, sharing knowledge across organisational boundaries and continuously improving our procedures to make them more efficient, digital and user-friendly.
