SUND HR: Children's sick days
News from your absence administrator: In connection with the new collective agreement negotiations in 2026 (OK26), an agreement has been reached on changes relating to children’s sick days.
In connection with the new collective agreement negotiations in 2026 (OK26), an agreement has been reached on changes relating to children’s sick days.
You now have the possibility to take a 3rd child’s sick day as well as a day for recall from work (emergency leave).
This means you now have the following options:
- Day 0: Child’s sickness – Sent home day
- Child’s 1st sick day
- Child’s 2nd sick day
- Child’s 3rd sick day
Report absence
As usual, you must report your absence to your absence administrator by email at: sund-fravaer-ki@health.sdu.dk if you are employed by the Department of Clinical Research
