Continued longer delivery times on IT equipment
The global supply situation in IT equipment is affecting us all right now and there is a shortage of goods in many categories.
This is due both to a high increase in demand and to the fact that production capacity cannot keep up at a sufficient pace.
In addition, there are major challenges with freight and transportation from Asia to Europe. Challenges, which unfortunately are expected to continue for the rest of the year and perhaps well into 2022.
At SDU IT, we are fully aware that the situation is certainly not optimal for you. We have never been in a similar situation before, but even though the challenges are unprecedented and in many areas are out of our hands, we at SDU IT try to remedy or minimize the negative consequences.
Therefore, in collaboration with our suppliers, we order a number of the most in-demand products for stock - orders that extend many months into the future to try to be able to offer a continuous delivery of standard IT equipment.
If there is a need for special equipment or other equipment that is outside the range we stock, significant delivery time must be expected - from 4 weeks and up to several months.
