Exclusive and Free Concert at SDU Odense
Come and experience choral music in the foyer (Atrium Courtyard) of the University Library of Southern Denmark in Odense, when the vocal ensemble Musica Ficta performs on Thursday, May 8 at 5 PM.
Thursday, May 8 at 5 PM, there will be a unique and free concert experience in the library’s Atrium Courtyard at SDU Odense.
At the concert, conductor Bo Holten and the vocal ensemble Musica Ficta will perform rare music from the late Renaissance, sourced from the Herlufsholm Collection at the University Library, SDU.
The event is connected to a three-year research project led by music historian Ole Kongsted. The old music, dating from around 1600, has been reviewed and completed so that it can once again be performed after lying dormant for centuries.
There is limited seating for the concert (80–100 chairs), free admission, and it is open to both staff and students.
