Payment of 0.64 holiday day with June salary
Now, SDU are paying the value of the 0.64 holiday days to the employees who were employed in the period from 1 January 2019 to 31 August 2019 and who are still employed.
In the period 1/1/2019 – 31/8/2019, employees at SDU earned 16.64 holiday days due to the transition to the new holiday act. Since holidays must be taken for whole days only, employees had 0.64 holidays days transferred to the subsequent holiday year.
Now, we are paying the value of the 0.64 holiday days to the employees who were employed in the period from 1 January 2019 to 31 August 2019 and who are still employed. However, the payment to clinical professors and associate professors will be included in a subsequent payroll process.
The payment will take place with the monthly salary for the month of June, which will be available on 30 June 2022. You will see this text on your payslip: “0.64 holiday days opt.1/1-31/8-19”. This includes about 2,200 employees.
The 0.64 due in connection with the holiday settlement has been paid upon resignation to employees who resigned between 1 September 2019 and now.
