Open Days attract strong turnout at SDU’s campuses

In recent weeks, SDU’s campuses have thrown open their doors to many forthcoming and potential students as well as other visitors interested in attending the Open Days. The future campus in Vejle held a particularly successful event, which attracted more than 200 visitors.

In general, there has been significant support for SDU’s education programmes in Odense, Kolding, Vejle and Sønderborg, where Open Days have been held.

The visitor numbers were impressive on all campuses, but Vejle has a particular cause for celebration. In September 2026, brand new degree programmes will open there, and there is clearly great interest in the future campus.

More than 200 people visited the Open Day in Vejle, including many prospective students who will be applying for the education programme of their dreams this year. Some of the visitors were international students who had travelled to Denmark to learn more about the opportunities for education, research and careers at SDU Vejle.

Also significant interest in Kolding, Sønderborg and Odense

The Open Day events at the three other campuses also attracted an encouraging number of visitors.

In Odense, more than 2800 visitors were registered, and Sønderborg campus had 266 visitors. In Kolding, 187 visitors attended the Open Day event.

SDU Esbjerg’s Open Day will take place on Saturday 28 February.
