At the end of November 2025, SDU IT ran a phishing campaign based on an older SDU news item about drones. Here are the results of the campaign.
Many people realised that the Rector does not usually send news emails from a Gmail, but there were still 461 people (4.7%) who clicked on the feedback link and 129 people (1.4%) who provided additional login information.
It is particularly positive that as many as 1,098 people reported the email as phishing and in Central Administration, more than one in three employees reported the email as a phishing email.
This is really great, and SDU IT naturally wants the proportion of employees reporting phishing emails to rise even higher.
