Central Administration
Summer staffing in the Central Administration
Several departments in the Central Administration will either be closed or operate with reduced staffing over the summer. Extended response times should therefore be expected when contacting the individual departments.
SDU Communications
The department will be active throughout the summer, albeit with reduced staffing. Please contact kommunikation@sdu.dk.
Language Services
The Language Services Unit will be closed in weeks 29 and 30.
Graphic Center
The Graphic Center will be closed in weeks 28 and 29 and will operate with reduced staffing in weeks 27 and 30.
Financial Services
Accounting: Closed in weeks 29 and 30
Controller: Closed in weeks 29 and 30
Budget: Skeleton staffing in weeks 28, 29 and 30
Procurement and Tenders: Skeleton staffing in weeks 28, 29 and 30
Research Support - Finance: Skeleton staffing in weeks 28, 29 and 30
Technical Services
Door opening hours:
During the period from 3 July 2023 up to and including 30 July 2023, external doors will be open from 08:00 to 16:00 on weekdays. Department doors on Campusvej, Odense will be locked round the clock. Access is possible with a valid ID card and PIN outside of opening hours.

When accessing the building with an employee/student card, do NOT admit
others who do not have a valid access card.
Cleaning:
The frequency of cleaning will be reduced between 10-28 July 2023
(inclusive), and toilets in the basement on Campusvej will be locked.
During this period, light cleaning will be carried out in laboratories that
are in use. Toilets will continue to be cleaned.
Light cleaning will be carried out in the office areas that are in use
(approximately once a week).
If you are on holiday or will not be using your office, please use the 'No
cleaning' signs that have been issued.
You can order thorough cleaning of offices, conference rooms and
laboratories to be carried out in weeks 32-34 (inclusive). Otherwise,
thorough cleaning is unavailable in July. Users must tidy up prior to the
cleaning.
Postal service:
From 10 July 2023 to 28 August 2023 (inclusive), Logistics will
operate as follows at SDU Campusvej, Winsløwparken and affiliated
departments:
- On Campusvej, letter mail must be collected at the post office.
- Parcel shipments will be delivered on an ongoing basis.
- On Campusvej, post/parcels for dispatch must be handed in at the post office no later than 14:30.
- New TEK, J.B. Winsløwvej and OUH will receive and have mail collected from 10:00 onwards.
- Distribution of administrative post will be carried out as needed.
- Transport and courier shipments will operate as usual.
- Opening hours in Transport & Logistics are 08:00-14:45 from 3 July to 28 July.
- The central warehouse will be open 08:00-14:00.

Room booking:
From 10-21 July 2023 (inclusive), rooms can only be booked via https://cloud.timeedit.net/sdu/web .
SDU Analytics
SDU Analytics will operate a reduced service during the summer months until 1 September. However, there will be a special prioritisation of compliance tasks and management information in relation to applications and offered study places.
The Library
Opening hours in Odense:
Monday-Friday: 09:00-15:00, but 10:00-14:00 in weeks 28 and 29
Opening hours in Slagelse:
Monday-Friday: 10:00-14:00 in weeks 27, 28, 29 and 31. During week 30, the
Library will be unstaffed, but staff and students will have access.
Opening hours in Esbjerg, Kolding and Sønderborg:
Monday-Friday: 10:00-14:00 in weeks 29, 30 and 31
SDU Student Services

SDU HR
SDU HR is open all summer, however with greatly reduced staffing in weeks 28, 29 and 30.
SDU's staff psychology scheme will be closed for the holidays from 10 July to 8 August 2023.
If you need psychological assistance during that period, you can either contact your own doctor, or you can write an email to Birgitte Aagaard Zethsen zethsen@sdu.dk. You will then be contacted as soon as possible after the holiday.
