Nordic Centre
Funding for academic events at the Nordic Centre at Fudan University
The autumn 2025 deadline for applications for funding for academic events is 20 September.
Organizers of academic events may apply for funding between 2,000 and 7,000 euros.
Priority will be given to applications that include participation of at least two Nordic member universities, preferably from different Nordic countries, and one or more Chinese partners. Events where Fudan University or Chinese affiliates are among the Chinese partners will be prioritized; other Chinese universities are also welcome to be involved as partners.
Priority will further be given to applications that address one or more of the prioritized thematic areas for Sino-Nordic collaboration at the Nordic Centre.
Activities that serve as networking platforms for early career researchers, facilitate new connections between Nordic and Chinese scholars, have potential to lead to joint applications for larger external grants, and are open for participation from all Nordic Centre member institutions are especially encouraged.
More information, including the application form and the handbook on academic events at the Nordic Centre, can be found on this page.
An open call for contributions from Nordic Centre members should be announced several months prior to the event.
