SDU Business School
New organisation for SDU Business School and the Faculty of Social Sciences
The process leading up to the division of SDU Business School and the Faculty of Social Sciences into two separate units has been initiated.
Implementation will take place gradually until 1 September 2026, but the current overall organisational structure will remain in place until then.
Organisation of implementation work
A steering committee has been set up to lead and coordinate the implementation work. Members of the committee:
- Rector Jens Ringsmose (chair)
- University Director Thomas Buchvald Vind
- Dean Hanne Søndergaard Birkmose
The steering committee has overall responsibility for progress and decisions. The steering committee is supported by an administrative project group, which provides secretarial services and coordination.
The following have been established under the steering committee:
- Dialogue forum: A forum for ongoing dialogue appointed by key stakeholders.
- Working group for VIP organisation: Responsible for mapping research areas and developing scenarios for the future academic organisation of SBS
- Working group for administrative organisation: Responsible for designing the future administrative structure at SBS and SAMF
- Joint administrative track: Cross-cutting track that ensures implementation in SDU's systems and processes.
