At the Board meeting on 4 December 2025, the Board decided to implement the faculty model as the future organisational structure for SDU Business School and the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences. The decision means that, as of 1 September 2026, the faculty will be divided into two separate units:

• The Faculty of Social Sciences (SAMF) comprising the Department of Law, the Department of Political Science and Public Management, and the Department of Economics, as well as CPop and DDC
• SDU Business School (SBS) comprising the Department of Business and Management, and the Department of Business and Sustainability

The implementation will proceed gradually until 1 September 2026, and the current overall organisational structure will remain in place until then.

A steering committee has been established to lead and coordinate the implementation process. Members of the committee are:
