The new organisation of SDU Business School and the Faculty of Social Sciences has now been implemented

The new organisation marks the conclusion of an extensive implementation process which, since the Board's decision in December 2025, has aimed to establish the necessary organisational, administrative, and leadership frameworks for the two faculties. With the new structure, these frameworks are fully in place, and the two faculties are integrated into SDU’s management and governance structure on an equal footing with the university’s other faculties.

The Steering Committee would like to thank everyone who has contributed to bringing this process successfully to completion through working groups, consultation forums, formal consultations and day-to-day implementation activities. Considerable efforts have gone into developing and establishing the organisational, administrative and leadership frameworks for the two new faculties.

The new organisation is the result of a significant collective effort, with staff, managers, students, and other stakeholders contributing with their expertise, commitment, and constructive input throughout the process.

The project organisation concludes its work

With the new organisation now in effect, the implementation project has formally been completed and the project organisation will be dissolved.

Going forward, the continued development of the two faculties will be the management responsibilities of the Faculty of Social Sciences and SDU Business School respectively. Responsibility for further development and implementation is therefore anchored with the respective Deans.
