Payment in euros via Conference Manager

As a general rule, SDU must create events in Conference Manager using Danish kroner (DKK) as the currency. This is because it is only the banks that stand to gain if a transaction is paid for in a different currency.

We are working to ensure that, in the near future, academic conferences that are expected to attract a significant number of international participants can be set up with the euro as the currency.

SDU must never use currencies other than Danish kroner (or, hopefully soon, euros) in Conference Manager.
