Guide for doors and alarmsystems in SDU RIO
The Access card is our keycard and alarm in one.
Unlock and lock doors:
- To open or lock the doors, simply just put your card in front of the card reader located by every door. By the outer doors the process is the same. Don’t enter any code.
- The door is open when the left green light is constant.
- The door is locked when the left green light is blinking.
Activating alarm:
- Make sure all windows and doors are closed. Especially on the ground floor windows.
- Hold your access card in front of the card reader until several, and one long bip. The light will now turn yellow.
- The door is now locked, and the alarm is set.
- If the left light blinks red, the door is not closed correctly. Pull in towards you.
- If the siren starts after activating the alarm, deactivate the alarm again and control windows and doors. If the alarm is not deactivated before 3 minutes, a message will be sent to G4S and the will cost ap. 2500 DKR.
Deactivating alarm:
- Put your card in front of the card reader.
- The light will turn to yellow.
- When the yellow light starts blinking, the alarm is off and the door can be opened.
- By the outer doors the alarm will be deactivated by holding your card up in front of the card reader. Don’t enter any code.
