Your opinion matters: Help shape the standards for teaching hours
You can now provide input on the standards for teaching hours in the new time registration system. Deadline: 20 February 2025.
A new time registration system, SUND-FREJA, is on its way, and lecturers now have the opportunity to take part in an important consultation on a set of standards that will form the basis of the system.
SUND-FREJA aims to ensure transparent and fair working conditions for lecturers by recording time spent on teaching-related activities such as:
- Teaching
- Supervision
- External courses
- Exams
- Course responsibility
- Consultation materials
How to submit a qualified response
- Introductory video on SUND-FREJA – includes an overview of the standards catalogue, background on the development of SUND-FREJA, and details about the consultation process (41 minutes, divided into chapters).
- PowerPoint presentation used in the video (including relevant links from the video). Focus on slides 14–22.
- The standards catalogue in four sections: 1)Explanations, 2)Standards, 3)Alternative model for certain activities, 4)Links
How to submit your response
Consultation responses should be submitted via the SUND-FREJA form. It is recommended that a staff group or committee submits a joint response, but individual responses are also welcome.
Deadline for consultation responses: 20 February 2025
Your input is essential in ensuring that the standards reflect lecturers’ tasks in a fair and accurate way.
All submitted consultation responses will be available in SUND-FREJA Q_A.docx
