Introducing IHI, the Innovative Health Initiative: Europe’s new partnership for health

What: IHI is the successor of the Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) and aims to translate health research and innovation into tangible benefits for patients and society.

The Technical University of Denmark, the Danish Ministry of Education and Science in Denmark and Greater Copenhagen EU Office invite you to join the first national information event on the new EU Partnership on Health Innovation (IHI). IHI is a research and innovation partnership between the European Commission and European Health Care Industry.

IHI is expected to invest up to €2,2 bn in industry-driven cross-sectoral health research and innovation that facilitates the creation of new products and services to prevent, intercept, diagnose, treat and manage diseases.

Among other themes, the session will cover IHI’s agenda and the forthcoming calls in 2022 and will touch upon the Danish opportunities in IHI.

Who: Researchers, who are interested in engaging in public-private partnerships with industry partners and others for a more integrated approach to healthcare, covering prevention, diagnosis, treatment and disease management.
