The faculty conducts research on public health and selected diseases that burden the population, the individual citizen, and society.
The faculty offers a complete spectrum of educational programmes within the health sciences field.
Additionally, the faculty disseminates research findings to the public, healthcare professionals, and decision-makers.
The faculty comprises 8 departments, 26 educational programmes, 36 centres, 80 research units, 1508 full-time equivalent staff, and 4881 students.
