The Team Recruitment and Internationalisation supports the faculty's work with student recruitment and student exchange. The work is divided into three areas:
National Student Recruitment
National student recruitment includes the development and execution of activities targeted at potential Danish bachelor students. These activities are communicated directly to the youth as well as to teachers and partners at upper secondary schools, such as the Academy for Talented Youth (ATU). Activities include Open House, Study Practice, high school visits, workshops, and the Festival of Research.
The team also works on initiatives aimed at potential German students, coordinating participation in high school visits as well as physical and online education fairs in Germany.
International Student Recruitment
International student recruitment involves developing strategies and conducting activities targeted at potential international bachelor and master students both within and outside the EU. Activities include physical and online education fairs, visits to International Baccalaureate schools and universities, MasterClasses, and webinars.
International recruitment also involves managing agreements and network collaborations with external partners who represent the faculty in selected recruitment activities in specific countries.
Student Exchange and Summer School
The team handles student exchange within mobility collaborations such as Erasmus+, Nordplus, and overseas agreements. This includes network collaboration with universities, quality assurance of collaboration agreements, and close cooperation with SDU's International Office. Activities include information sessions and welcome days for exchange students, as well as coordination of SDU's international summer school in collaboration with the International Office at SDU Education.
