Operation of Autoclave Function
Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
Autoclaving for the FGM and M3 units is performed by personnel assigned to the dishwashing function. Autoclaving activities are scheduled to ensure optimal use of autoclave capacity, allowing materials from multiple research groups to be autoclaved together.
Weekly autoclaving schedule:
Tuesday:
- Dry autoclaving at 09:00
- Wet autoclaving at 11:00
- Media waste (large autoclave) at 09:00
Thursday:
- Dry autoclaving at 09:00
- Wet autoclaving at 11:00
