Workwear for laboratory work:
- Workwear for laboratory work is defined as labcoats, which can be ordered at BMB Purchasing.
Footwear:
For all laboratory technicians and technician trainees according to the HK agreement and other TAP and ATAP who are permanent employees.
- Work shoes must be appropriately designed in relation to the work tasks that the employee performs in the laboratories and at the department.
- Work shoes are replaced a maximum of every other year, and has to stay at the workplace.
- SDU has an agreement with changing suppliers, so ask Purchasing which agreements apply. Currently is is Sport 24 and Skoringen Vestergade, Odense and on e-order it is Orloff or by internet Sport 24. All shopping by e-order/internet is being made by the BMB Purchasing.
- Note: Clogs in addition to class 2 laboratories is payed by BMB for personal safety for common use and is ordered via BMB Purchasing.
Procedure for buying footwear:
- Contact BMB Purchasing and receive a requisition.
- The employee buys his work shoes in a store, Sport 24 and Skoringen Vestergade, Odense, outside working hours, or orders them at Purchasing if they are traded by appointment on e-order/internet.
- Employee may buy a pair of shoes for max. DKK 1,000.
- The purchace is registered at BMB Purchasing.
