Expectation from IMADA to lecturers regarding Teaching Assistants (TAs)

IMADA’s Teaching Committee has decided the following:

  • A start-up meeting with the lecturer and all TAs should be held in connection with the start of the semester.
  • The lecturer should have regular meetings with all TAs. How often and when these meetings are held is expected to be agreed on at the start-up meeting.
  • The lecturer should inform all TAs about exercises and content of the upcoming exercise sessions in good time before the exercise sessions. A plan for this is expected to be agreed upon at the start-up meeting.
  • The lecturer should be available and ready to answer questions from all TAs at the course. This can be done in connection with the regular meetings with the TAs.
