Examinations and other compulsory assignments

Semester assignments
If the course includes assignments during the semester, they should be submitted digitally via ‘Digital Eksamen’. It is the lecturer’s responsibility to initiate this. The procedure is as follows.

  • The lecturer sends an overview of exam deadlines to the exam coordinator who creates and opens the exam portal for students.
  • The lecturer provides the exam coordinator with potential topics/questions. The exam coordinator posts these on ‘Digital Eksamen’.
  • After the deadline, the lecturer downloads the assignments directly from ‘Digital Eksamen.
  • The lecturer has to register the results on ‘Digital Eksamen’. The grades must be available within 4 weeks of the assignment’s hand-in deadline.

Read more about ‘Digital Eksamen’ here.

Examination
The Examination Coordinator/Study Administration is responsible for coordinating all examinations of students. Lecturers are heard before the final date is set. The study administration will thereafter provide students and lecturers with dates and times for examinations.
The study administration will request examination questions by email. The examination questions for ordinary examinations and re-examinations must be submitted by the deadline provided by the study administration.

  • It is the lecturer’s responsibility to produce examination questions for the ordinary examination and re-examination, while it the course responsible’s responsibility to approve of these.
  • In good time of the deadline, please produce the examination questions and send them for approval at the course responsible.
  • If in doubt of what they should include, it may be a good idea to consult the course responsible and/or request to see prior years’ examination questions for inspiration.
  • Please send the examination questions to the study administration once they are approved by the course responsible.
