Timesheet

Timesheet

TimeSheet is a ‘digital timesheet’ for student assistants, academic tutors, student tutors, tutors and study group tutors.
TimeSheet replaces the old paper timesheets
TimeSheet has an approval workflow from employee to payroll system
TimeSheet is based on pretty much the same philosophy as paper timesheets:
Anyone with an SDU mail / SDU username (AD account) can fill in a timesheet
No system block in case of non-employment - it is not the system that must decide whether you can hand in a timesheet
No check that you choose the right approver / project - almost all timesheets are handed in correctly
You access TimeSheet at https://timesheet.sdu.dk

For TimeSheet to work, the system must be set up. Therefore, you must fill in a form with the name of the project, assignment or department / department that the student assistant / supervisor must choose. In addition, you must state who the approver and / or instructor is and which account string is to be used by default.
The form is downloaded from this page, filled in, printed and signed, scanned and sent by e-mail to timesheet-support@sdu.dk

If the salary is to fall for payment on the last banking day, it is very important that the timesheet is indicated between the 9th and the 16th of the same month as the payment is to be made.

In February, however, we must have the timesheet no later than 16 February in order to guarantee that they will be paid out on the last banking day.

If the salary is to be paid on the 10th banking day, it is very important that the timesheet is indicated on the 23rd of the month at the earliest and no later than the 3rd of the following month.

These guidelines are of course based on the fact that there is no error on the timesheet.
You should pay special attention to the fact that the student does not choose the wrong title / form of employment, as this can lead to the student getting the wrong hourly rate.

Remember to check whether the posting on the timesheet is correct.

It is very important that it is agreed who is to approve and direct if you are absent - and that the timesheets are not waiting too long to be approved and instructed, as this can give the student problems in relation to housing insurance etc.
