'Campus Connect' gives you as an employee at the University of Southern Denmark the opportunity to make new connections and gain new perspectives across SDU.
Would you like to expand your network, find new inspiration in everyday life or just enjoy a good conversation on a walk with a colleague?
Campus Connect is a new offer for all SDU employees - regardless of position, subject area or campus city. The concept originates from the university KU Leuven in Belgium, where it is called 'Colleague dating'. At SDU, we have adopted the idea and named it 'Campus Connect'.
You are matched with a colleague based on short questions about what kind of conversation you would like to have. You agree on a time and go for a walk together, where the conversation can go in any direction.
When meeting an unfamiliar colleague, it's hard to know in advance if the conversation will flow from the start, so to help you on your way, the Campus Connect information page provides conversation inspiration, such as questions about professionalism, work life and passion in your work - perfect topics to kick-start meaningful dialogues.
