The ESDH team is now part of SDU Digital
The ESDH team, with Gitte Brobyskov and Maja Skov, has moved from SDU HR to SDU Digital as of 1st January. As of now, Thomas Friis Gjesing, programme manager for ‘Fremtidens ESDH’, will also be head of the team.
The move is based on the 'Fremtidens ESDH' programme, which has the objective of transforming the way SDU handles case and document management. Today, the focus is on registering, searching for and retrieving documents. There are limited options for the digital support of administrative processes, and limited options for essential application integrations. The introduction of WorkZone will enable an increased focus on process support, cross-organisational collaboration, and the reuse of data. Ownership of this area therefore lies more naturally within SDU Digital.
With the new platform and the new approach to case and document management, the vision is for SDU to use WorkZone to a much greater extent as a driver for efficient, coherent workflows and automated processes. WorkZone will be able to support the needs of faculties and the Central Administration on an ongoing basis - even as the needs change.
Thomas Friis Gjesing says: I am looking forward to becoming a part of the ESDH team and to developing the case and document management-area. The focus is on the continued support of the organisation in using the platform as well as how we best bridge the gap between administrative processes, automation and record keeping. It's particularly important to pay attention to our users in the transition of closing down the old application, Acadre and going live with the new, WorkZone, on March 4.
