Obituary for Henrik Johnsen Vindt

We will remember Henrik as a dedicated, skilled, and helpful colleague at TEK Education at the University of Southern Denmark in Odense.

Henrik celebrated his 25th work anniversary in 2023. He had been part of TEK since his early appointments as a lecturer at Odense University College of Engineering on Niels Bohrs Alle.

For many years, he taught on the Global Management and Manufacturing programme, a course he also helped to establish and later led as programme director.

Henrik was deeply committed to the internationalisation of education and to creating the best exchange opportunities for the faculty's students. He was a driving force in developing a strong international profile for the faculty and in building numerous strong partnerships with partner universities. He was passionate about providing the best possible guidance to students, ensuring they had an outstanding experience during their exchange programmes.

Henrik was one of the pioneers in the internationalisation efforts at SDU and remained a constant source of good, creative, and valuable ideas throughout the process. His dedication to close cooperation with international partner universities played a key role in the success of the faculty's collaborations.

Henrik was the public face of our exchange initiatives, cultivating close relationships with many of our partner universities. Through this work, Henrik became well-known both within SDU and beyond – nationally and internationally.

We will miss Henrik as a professionally skilled, helpful, and incredibly kind colleague, always in good spirits.
