New date for the closure of SDU’s print shop
The print shop service at the Graphic Centre will continue for a further two months than originally planned, before an external supplier takes over the service on 1 March 2027. The postponement has been decided to ensure a well-tested and smooth transition to the new supplier.
SDU’s print shop at the Graphic Centre will continue to supply printed materials until the end of February 2027.
On 1 March, a new supplier will take over the service. The postponement from 1 January to 1 March 2027 is due to the decision that the new set-up must be fully tested and operating reliably before the current in-house printing and print service closes completely.
Status of the tender process
The tender specifications have just been sent out for external hearing in the market, and the deadline for feedback and clarifying questions is the end of week 38. The tender is expected to be published in week 41 and will remain open for 30 days. The user group will then evaluate the tenders received and the tenderers.
The internal financial framework for ordering printed materials from a new supplier is currently being finalised and will be communicated to the organisation in the new year.
