News about the OK26 settlements in the state/public sector

On 11 February 2026, the Ministry of Finance, the Central Confederation of Professional Associations (CFU) and Akademikerne (AC) agreed on a three-year state collective agreement. Below is a brief overview of the agreement.

By SDU HR, 3/30/2026

The settlements pass, among other things, general salary improvements, better maternity and leave conditions, changes regarding child sick days, a new type of free-choice salary account, and a focus on strengthening efforts against work-related stress.

How will the settlements be implemented?

We are waiting for the settlements to be approved by a vote among the members of the trade unions and for the Danish Agency for Employees and Skills (MEDST) to issue circulars for a number of central agreements, including the collective agreements with Akademikerne (AC) and Offentligt Ansattes Organisations på Statens område (OAO) before changes can be implemented.

We are also awaiting information about agreements for HK, laboratory technicians, craftsmen, Prosa, etc. SDU can only begin implementing the agreements, including the implementation of salary improvements, when the final agreements are available.

SDU HR will regularly provide information about OK26 on SDUNet.

Due to the general election, the process is delayed and it is expected to take time before the agreements are negotiated and finally voted through.
