Changes to operations at Technical Services during the summer

Door opening hours

During the period from 30 June 2025 to 1 August 2025, external doors will be open from 08:00 to 16:00 on weekdays. Department doors on Campusvej, Odense, will be closed 24 hours a day. Access is possible with a valid ID card and code outside opening hours.

In the cities, outer doors and department doors will be closed.

For other requests or special events, Technical Services can be contacted by email 8888@sdu.dk.

It is recommended that when using an employee/employee identification/research card/student card/student identity card, DO NOT let others into the building without a valid ID card.

Postal service

In the period from 30 June 2025 up to and including 1 August 2025, Logistics will
serve SDU Campusvej, Winsløwparken and associated institutions as follows:

• On Campusvej, letter mail must be picked up at the post office.
• Parcels will be delivered on an ongoing basis.
• On Campusvej, mail/parcels for despatch must be returned/submitted/handed in at the mail department no later than 13.00
• TEK, OUH will be posted and unposted at 10.00 and onwards.
• Transport and courier shipments are placed in the mail room before 10.00 or returned/submit/hand in at the post office before 12.00. As usual, please send an email to 8888@sdu.dk

Room booking

In the period from 14 July 2025 until 25 July 2025, it will only be possible to book rooms via https://cloud.timeedit.net/sdu/web .

Cleaning services

As in previous years, cleaning will be reduced during the period 7 July to 25 July 2025 (both days included). Only applies to Campus Odense. Therefore, longer response times can be expected for the extra tasks, both cleaning and waste management.

Toilets in the basement and some toilet groups on campus will be locked.

During this period, daily cleaning will be carried out in laboratories that are in use, and toilets and kitchens will be cleaned daily.
In the office areas that are in use, cleaning will be carried out (approximately once a week).
