We’re travelling GREEN 2023
Departments and offices at SDU Odense are hereby invited to participate in Odense Municipality’s annual campaign focusing on green and active transport habits at workplaces in Odense. Because SDU is one of the nine founding members of the Odense Climate Partnership, all interested parties are invited to participate.
The purpose of the campaign is to motivate even more Odense residents to be more active and green when travelling to work. Green and active transport can be many things: for example, cycling, walking, carpooling, public transport, electric cars or even working from home. All of this counts in the campaign!
The main concepts of the campaign are:
- The campaign runs in weeks 44–47 and focuses on green and active transport habits.
- Everyone can participate – it’s not just about how far your green and active travel is, but about travelling more greenly and actively than usual. It’s also a pat on the back for those who are already using green and active transport to get to work.
- The campaign is very low-tech, using posters and simply ticking off active and green transport days.
- There are attractive prizes up for grabs.
- Odense Municipality’s Climate and Environment Administration would like visit you one day during the campaign weeks and have a stand at your workplace (e.g. during your lunch break), where we will hand out some merchandise and information about green transport habits. We will bring 1–2 bicycle mechanics with us, who will carry out a mini-service on the participants’ bikes at our expense.
