We’re travelling green 2024

The purpose of the campaign is to motivate even more Odense residents to be more active and green when commuting to work. And green and active transportation comes in many forms - such as cycling, walking, several people driving together, using public transportation, driving an electric car or even working at home. All of this counts in the campaign.

The main concepts of the campaign are:

• The campaign runs in weeks 44-47 (28 Oct - 24 Nov) and focuses on green and active transport habits.
• Everyone can participate - it's not just about how far your green and active travel is, but about travelling more greenly and actively than usual.
• There are attractive prizes up for grabs. Odense Municipality will draw the winners among the participants in Odense Climate Partnership.
• You will receive a poster (or several) with room for the names of up to 25 employees on each poster. Each participant signs their name on a poster and simply marks with a pen on which days they used green and active transportation to and from work. Every marking of an employee' green transportation trip equals a lot in the competition

Anyone who participates in Vi Kører Grønt (We're travelling green) and who has signed up for a bicycle check on the form sent out by the Department of Climate and Environment in Odense can contact Folkebo Cykler who provide a mini-bicycle service on the participants' bikes at the municipality's expense.
