The SDU elections are for all SDU’s students
Thank you so much for putting pen to paper and making your voice heard – you have our attention. Students at SDU are a central part of life at the University, and your involvement and commitment to the University’s activities are indispensable to the Rectorate.
It is important that you experience ownership of your study programmes and of the common study environment as pivotal for good well-being – both in and outside of class. This is why we are pleased to hear about the interest you experience among your fellow students. You are absolutely right – the students have a real opportunity to influence the direction and future of the University.
There are passionate students at all five of SDU’s locations, and we have obviously not managed to include all of you in the initiatives that we launched during this year’s SDU elections. We deeply regret this. We can do better, and we will do better.
Thank you for your and your fellow students’ relevant input regarding improvements. For the next elections, we will have extra focus on ensuring that there are campaigns and activities in Esbjerg, Sønderborg, Kolding and Slagelse. In addition, we will also pay close attention to information and dialogue about the opportunities to be active and engaged in SDU’s collegiate bodies and student associations from as early as study start. Thank you once again for your great commitment.
