  • Collaborate with external partners

Get started: Fill out an online form

Hospital employees who plan to collaborate with external parties must fill out a form. Important for those employed at both hospital and university: Be aware of your role in the collaboration so that you can select the correct employment location on the form. In your assessment, consider which institution is involved in any grant applications, which institution provides resources and facilities, and whether the collaboration includes patient contact.

Contracts are necessary in collaborations

A contract describes the purpose of the collaboration. It ensures the rights of both parties.

It limits liability and helps sorting out future conflicts.

Legal Services can help you with the following types of agreements:

  • Collaboration agreements on research and development.
  • Clinical Trial Agreements (CTA), including agreements on company-initiated protocols and investigator-initiated protocols with full or partial funding from an external party.
  • Material Transfer Agreements (MTA), and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA/CDA), including feasibility CDA's.

For Region Zealand, Legal Services also assists with data processing agreements, joint data controller agreements, data transfer agreements, etc.
