About the agreement
Researchers from SDU and the University Hospitals in the Region of Southern Denmark publish open access free of charge in the De Gruyter journals. Instead, open access costs are covered by an agreement between Danish research institutions and De Gruyter. The agreement is in effect up to and including 2026.

Conditions
To have open access covered by the agreement the following conditions must be met:
- Corresponding author must be affiliated to SDU or a University Hospital in the Region of Southern Denmark. This is indicated by using an rsyd or SDU email in the submission system or by using one's ORCID with SDU added as employment.
- The publication must be primary research or review article. Contact us if you need help to decide if your publication is one of these categories.
