Union representatives

The union representative’s most important tasks include the following:

  • Salary negotiations
  • Negotiation of salaries and allowances for new employees
  • Member cases, e.g. in case of illness, warnings, dismissals, employment on special terms
  • Participation in and preparation for liaison committee meetings
  • Interviews with and briefing of the members whom the union representative represents
