About SDU on social media

Social media is one of the most effective ways to communicate for students, staff, alumni and external media. Social media can measurably improve the knowledge of SDU among prospective students and news media as well as of researchers both domestically and internationally. This ranges from citations to brand awareness.

The more traditional communication disciplines such as customer service, marketing and public relations have also become bona fide parts of social media – as well as a number of other related disciplines such as HR.

If SDU wants a presence wherever its users are, social media are extremely important today.

Therefore, the social media team at SDU’s Communications department has written this support and guideline, intended to help colleagues manage their own social media presence with SDU as sender or partial sender.
