The notice boards at the University of Southern Denmark

The notice boards are primarily for information to and from campus users.

Applying

Vacant notice boards are allocated after written application to Technical Services at 8888@sdu.dk. 

The application must include:

  • Name of the section, department or organisation
  • Contact details for the section, department or organisation – either in the form of an email address (preferably to a functional mailbox or shared mailbox that several people check) or a link to a website where contact details are available

Regulations

The notice boards must be maintained. This means the borrower of the notice board must ensure the boards do not contain any unauthorised postings, e.g. discotheque, house sale and various course advertisements. In the event of repeated unauthorised postings, please email Technical Services at 8888@sdu.dk, and they will contact the advertiser.

Fire authorities require postings to be kept within the four sides of the notice board and in one layer only.
The Friday before the Annual University Celebration, all postings must be removed from the boards. If you do not do it yourself, we will clear your notice board and your materials will be discarded. The same regulatory requirements may apply to other large events.

Remember to notify Technical Services if you no longer need the notice board. If, over a period of time, we observe that you are not using and maintaining your notice board, we can either withdraw it for free advertising or allocate it to other interested parties.
