Parking rules

• General parking rules for SDU Kolding

  When you park at SDU Kolding, please remember:

  • All parking on the gravel area requires a parking permit.
  • All parking must be within the marked bays.

  As there are a limited number of parking spaces in Kolding, you should expect that even if you have a parking permit, there is not always a parking space available.

  We recommend that all parking in the University of Southern Denmark's car parks in Kolding takes place with consideration and respect for the limited number of parking spaces available.

  Responsibility for parking conditions at SDU Kolding is placed in Technical Services.

• Day parking

  For daytime parking between 08:00 and 17:00, when you do not have a permanent parking permit, you must create a day permit by entering your car registration number and mobile phone number on the tablet located at entrance C. You will then receive a text message with your parking permit. In connection with the allocation of a day parking permit, please remember that it is your own responsibility to ensure that your car's registration number is entered correctly.
  
  Always enter your mobile phone number. You will then receive a receipt for your registration.
• Permanent parking permit for staff and students

  A parking permit is valid for the period you need to park in Kolding and is granted as needed for a maximum of 1 year at a time. If you are still employed or a student at the time of expiry, the permit is automatically extended.
  The parking permit is linked to your car's registration number and a visible permit is not issued. It is your own responsibility to ensure that the car registration number is always entered correctly. We encourage you to check that the data entered is correct upon receipt of the parking receipt.

  ATTENTION:
  If you change your car, you must update the registration number on your parking permit yourself. You do this via the link in the email you received when the parking permit was issued.

  Parking permit for employees:

  Please use this link for application, where you must enter your full name, your SDU email, your mobile number and the car registration number. You will subsequently receive a receipt for your parking permit.

  P-Permit for students:

  Please use this link for application, where you must enter your full name, your SDU email, your mobile number and the car registration number. You will subsequently receive a receipt for your parking permit.

• Permanent parking authorisation for external visitors

  Permanent parking permits for external contractors/suppliers can be ordered by contacting Technical Services.

• Disabled parking

  Disabled parking is available on the paved area in marked areas. Parking must take place in the specially marked stalls.
  
  A valid and legible disabled parking card must be displayed in the car windscreen.

• Loading and unloading

  Loading and unloading is accepted if the breakdown light is switched on. However, a maximum of 20 minutes.
• Charging points

  For the area around the electric charging stations, parking is permitted with a valid digital parking permit for the parking area and the car must be connected to a charging station. This applies on weekdays from 08.00 - 17.00
  
  Parking must take place within marked stalls.
  
  Failure to comply with the posted parking regulations may result in an inspection fee. The observation time is set to 10 minutes.
  
  The inspection fee is set at DKK 650 incl. VAT.
