Travelling by taxi

Use public transport as much as possible. Taxi expenses can be reimbursed when it is deemed appropriate for your journey.

You can always get the cost of a taxi covered if you are not comfortable taking public transport.

As a general rule, SDU does not cover transport at your destination once you have arrived at your accommodation. This must be covered by the hourly and daily allowances or the percentage allowance.

Agreement with Dantaxi

SDU has an agreement with Dantaxi for taxi services in Denmark. 

  • In order to use the agreement, the department or unit must be set up as a Dantaxi customer.

    Follow the steps to set up your department or unit as a customer:

    1. Fill out the order form Agreement on driving account.
    2. Send the completed form to kort@moovegroup.com and state that you want to create an account as part of the state agreement. Also state whether you want a taxi voucher, taxi card, personal card or a call-in service.

     

    Taxi voucher

    Taxi vouchers are recommended for departments and units with limited need for taxi travels.

    A taxi voucher is filled in before the journey and can only be used once. You must keep the small slip on the taxi voucher and return the remaining part (in completed form) to the taxi driver. Remember to get a receipt. There is a long number on the slip and this number will appear on the invoice when the trip is settled.

    Personalised card

    A personalised card is suitable for employees with high need for taxi travels.

    Return the plastic card to the driver before the start of the trip. A receipt will be disenrolled, which you should keep and use for billing purposes. Remember to keep the receipt for invoice authorisation.

    If a personal card needs to be closed/cancelled, please send an email with the card number and the cardholder's name to kort@dantaxi.dk.

  • You can order a taxi in the following ways:

    • Call 48 48 48 48 48 48.
    • Book online.
    • Book via the Dantaxi app.

    When ordering a taxi, both the from and to address must be provided. This information will subsequently appear on the electronic invoice from Dantaxi.

  • After the journey, Dantaxi sends an electronic invoice with attached documents directly to the faculty/department/unit.

    The receipts that you receive in the taxi must be scanned and stapled to the electronic invoice in the system ERP. However, you do not need to attach a scan of the taxi receipt if the electronic invoice contains all necessary information about the journey travelled.

    Pay with Eurocard

    The taxi ride can also be paid with a Eurocard with SDU authorisation. Remember to get a receipt.
