New education programmes for SDU

The Minister for Higher Education and Science has approved new education programme offers

SDU has been given the green light from the Ministry of Higher Education and Science to create three new education programmes – two master’s degree programmes and one vocational master degree programme. The first students will be welcomed in September 2024.

The following new programmes have been approved:

MSc in Data Science at NAT in Kolding

The programme provides students with the analytical and technical skills to cover all aspects of managing, analysing and presenting data – now and in the future. Graduates will be able to work with, process, analyse and present data in all industries and all types of businesses.

Study start is September 2024.

Master degree programme in Data Stewardship at NAT in Odense

The programme will educate students to manage data throughout its entire lifecycle. A Data Steward works to ensure the quality and consistency of data across processes and operations in an organisation to optimise the usability and reproducibility of data. A Data Steward also helps develop and implement an organisation’s data management strategy.

Study start is September 2024.

The programme will qualify students to actively address current and future challenges in the healthcare sector in relation to collaboration and communication between the many stakeholders in the healthcare sector, increasing expectations about individual treatment pathways, focus on inequality in the healthcare sector and resource scarcity in terms of time, staff and finances.

Study start is September 2024.
