SDU to offer new education programmes

The Minister for Higher Education and Science has approved new education programme offers

SDU can look forward to new degree programmes – one BSc programme and two MSc programmes. The first students will be welcomed in September 2025. 

The following new programmes have been approved:

Bachelor (BSc) in Psychology and MSc in Psychology (cand. psych) at SDU Esbjerg

The purpose and professional aim of the programme is identical to the existing programmes in Psychology at SDU Odense. The same applies to the organisation, structure and content of the Degree Qualifications Profile and the constituent subject elements. The programmes have a special focus on the impact of society on individuals and communities, as well as an increased focus on and opportunities for specialisation in educational psychology and work and organisational psychology.

The BSc programme will be launched in September 2025.
The MSc programme will be launched in September 2028.

MSc in Quantum Computing at SDU Odense

This programme provides graduates with skills in quantum computing with a particular focus on software aspects of quantum computing. Graduates will have the skills to programme and develop software for quantum computers. The programme will focus on both practical and theoretical aspects of programming and software development on quantum platforms. Graduates will be able to work with currently existing platforms as well as other platforms that will be developed in the future. As pioneers in an emerging technological field, the programme also seeks to educate graduates capable of integrating this new software with existing technologies.

The programme will be launched in September 2025.
