About grading

Change to the FAQ about grading

The changes are about blank submissions

By SDU Education, , 6/17/2025

Registration, SDU Education has amended the "FAQ about grading" to clarify who should register blank submissions in "Digital Exam". The following has been clarified:

  • If a student submits a blank in the traditional sense, grading must be given by an assessor, as it cannot be determined unambiguously and thus administratively whether or not the student has submitted something that they want assessed.
  • On the other hand, if the student uses the "submit blank" button in "Digital Exam", an administrative "U" can be given by an administrator, as there can be no doubt about the student's intention behind their actions.

The adjustment is based on a statement from The Danish Agency for Higher Education and Science that administrative employees are not allowed to make administrative grading.
