Here on this page, you can get an overview of what we at SDU RIO stand for and contribute when we collaborate with you on your teaching.
Our network is your network
SDU RIO has an extensive network of companies and public institutions, including a number of business partners with whom we collaborate. We make this network available to you if you want to collaborate with an external organization on a practical activity in your teaching.
On the dashboard below, you can see a list of external organizations that we already collaborate with or have collaborated with.
Besides the organizations you find on the list, we also have knowledge and contact with many other Danish private companies, NGOs, and public institutions that are relevant to SDU's students.
If you wish to collaborate with a specific company or type of organization that you do not find on the list, we are happy to expand our – and your – network.
We are professional networkers
We know what it takes for a collaboration to be value-creating and meaningful for you as a teacher, for the students, and for the external organizations. Therefore, we also know what to emphasize when we reach out to new, potential partners. Without promising more or other than what they can get out of it.
At the same time, we have a keen eye for the students' learning outcomes and your resources – so just as we know how to "sell" a collaboration around a practical activity in your teaching, we are also good at framing and articulating the requirements that the external organization must agree to ensure a good learning experience all around.
This makes us a really good link between you and the external organizations.
Always updated knowledge about the labor market
As a natural part of our work, we keep ourselves updated on knowledge about the academic labor market, both by reading reports and analyses – but also through the ongoing contact we have with our many partners outside SDU.
These collaborations include both private and public organizations that are recipients of our graduates, and unemployment insurance funds as well as trade unions, with whom we continuously spar, exchange knowledge, and collaborate.
This knowledge informs our work with employability, practice, and career – and we naturally share it with you.
We have in-depth knowledge of students
We have in-depth knowledge of SDU's students and experience with conducting practical activities in teaching.
We have run SDU's career guidance services for many years, so we know SDU's students and the challenges they face when looking for student jobs, project-oriented courses / company projects / internships, and their first full-time job.
We not only understand their challenges, but we also have many years of practical experience in helping them overcome them. This experience comes from our thousands of 1:1 career counseling sessions, our hundreds of career events, including job fairs, as well as our own ECTS-accredited courses.
We also have extensive experience in developing and conducting practical activities in various courses across all five faculties. Thus, we have plenty of ideas, examples, and materials that we can draw on in collaboration with you on your course. This means that you do not have to make the beginner mistakes in collaboration with external organizations. We have made and learned from them, so you can get off to a really good start.
In other words, we have our finger on the pulse and good conditions for co-creating solutions that are tailored to the students you teach.
