Business School Days 2025 - SDU Connect at Campus Esbjerg

Location: Room 81103 Auditorium and the lounge area by the piano 
Lunch: There will be served sandwiches, cake, water, coffee and tea 

In relation to Business School Days 2025, SDU Esbjerg is once again opening its doors for an event where you can learn to engage professionally with businesses and get to know some local companies just a little bit better. Be quick to sign up for this great opportunity, as there is a limited space of 50 people for this event. If the spaces are taken, you will be added to our waiting list.

Prepare yourself to become a great connector
On this day you will learn to become more aware of what competencies you possess and how to communicate these briefly to relevant companies. You will participate in a workshop to equip you for the encounter with the companies. The workshop will include individual exercises and exercises in groups.

Workshop – prepare to connect
During the workshop, we will prepare you to engage with the companies attending the SDU Connect event.
You will also gain inspiration from a fellow student, Mokaddim Ul Hoque, who will share his story about how he landed a student job after attending SDU Connect last year.

The workshop will include individual exercises and exercises in groups. Cathrine Andreasen, career counselor from SDU RIO, will facilitate the workshop. 

Before this day, we will send you the list of the participating companies, which we will encourage you to investigate and learn more about them.

Make important connections to improve your network
Afterwards, you will be networking with the companies, as you have been prepared for at the workshop. You will meet some local companies, where you can get to know them a little better and gain insight into each company and their culture. The event starts with a thorough presentation of each company. After this, there will be an opportunity to mingle and network among these companies who will be ready for an informal chat with you at their stands.

Program of the day
12.00 – 12.15: Register and grab a sandwich
12.15 – 13.45: Presentation during lunch and workshop
13.45 – 14.00: A little break
14.00 – 14.45: Presentations from companies  
14.45 – 15.00: Networking between companies and students
15.00 – 16.00: Coffee, cake, and continued networking  
16.00: Thanks for today 

Presentations
Each company gets 4 minutes to introduce themselves and talk about who they are and what they do. This way, you can learn more about the companies. Feel free to prepare some questions. 

Networking 
Each company has a stand. Here, you can have a chat with them and hear about their company.

Please note, that there is a limitation of 50 people for this event.
