The Faculty of Health Sciences may, following assessment and approval by the Rector, award the title of Adjunct Professor or Adjunct Associate Professor to recognised researchers whom the faculty wishes to honour.

The Faculty of Health Sciences may award the title of Honorary Fellow. This honorary title may be granted to individuals who, while not recognised researchers, possess qualifications at a high professional level.

When an associate professor or professor retires, an emeritus arrangement can be established as part of a retirement agreement – provided that both the Faculty of Health Sciences and the individual agree to it.
