Guests at the Department of Biology

If you want to host a guest researcher or a guest student, the stay must be registered and approved by the Department of Biology. This is done by sending a guest form to Christina Kastrupsen. If the guest is international, it is important to plan ahead, as the stay may require various permits. This is particularly important if the guest comes from a non-EU country, even for short-term stays.

You can download the guest form here.

You can read more about the affiliation of international guest researchers and guest PhD students here.

You can read more about becoming an exchange or guest student here.

Residence and work permits for guests

When an international guest researcher or visiting PhD student is about to start at SDU, it is important that they have the right to live and work in Denmark.

Read more about the rules on the International Staff Office web pages.

Housing for international guests

The Accommodation Office at Technical Services assigns accommodation to guests at SDU who do not live in Denmark and who need accommodation for a minimum of 14 days.
