My name is Brian Klæstrup, and I will be working as a PhD student in the Public Health in Denmark research group on a project about geographic areas in Denmark with few general practitioners, and how personal factors and local community conditions influence doctors’ choice of workplace. The project is part of the larger research project Medical Deserts and Health Disparities.
I am 43 years old and come from Slagelse. I hold a Master’s degree in Public Health Science and have previously worked for 10 years as a teacher at an efterskole (boarding school).
