Status of the restructuring, continuous updates

Status – week 10

Updates from weeks 9 and 10.

By Stinne Hørup Hansen, Deputy Director of Studies, 3/6/2026

This week, there has been a dialogue meeting in the temporary working environment/TR forum for SDU Education and in the TR dialogue forum on OSU. Here we discussed the need for ongoing communication about the transition project.

Based on good input, I will therefore continue with regular updates on SDUnet in even weeks. In addition, there will be local updates at department and team level.

The exam period has ended with secure operations and strong collaboration between Planning and the study administrations of the faculties.

Work is continuing to create a common understanding of the tasks that now lie within SDU Education. The work must result in co-operation agreements so that roles and responsibilities are clear to everyone. Several agreements are well underway, such as professional assessments in the KA intake and the handling of exam irregularities.

In March, the focus will be on the upcoming agreements on the planning and organisation of teaching and exams. Workshops with participation from faculties and representatives from Planning and SDU Education will be held in the campus cities in Jutland. Similarly, work continues on cooperation agreements in the student counselling area.

The Coordinating Forum for Study Administration (KFU) has held its second meeting. Here, the terms of reference were finalised, and work has begun on a new landscape of supporting forums. SAK KVAL has contributed with perspectives on its own work, and similar discussions will take place at the upcoming meeting of SAK ADM.

The management group at SDU Education in Odense met on Monday to discuss the process for the upcoming relocation, which will ensure a common in-person meeting of the departments. The focus is on a good and inclusive process because location is of great importance for the working environment. At the same time, the move must ensure clear communication to the faculties so that everyone knows where and how to contact student counselling, course administrators, degree programme secretaries, etc. The location of SDU Education on campus Odense will be announced in the spring.

Finally, we are in the process of greeting rounds between the educational administration management at the faculties and the managers in Planning. The meetings provide important perspectives on the transition and strengthen collaboration.
