Exhibition on SDU's research ethics universe has opened

The exhibition on good research practice is now open in the Library Atrium at SDU in Odense. The exhibition can be experienced until the end of May.

Now you can experience an exhibition in the library's Atrium at SDU in Odense that supports the new web universe on research ethics, integrity and compliance.

The exhibition focuses on why research integrity is crucial. It also shows that we as a university have concrete resources that can support high research quality in practice.

Rector Jens Ringsmose opened the exhibition, which is on display until 27 May 2026, and he is pleased that the University of Southern Denmark has now so clearly created the best conditions for ensuring high research quality from first thought to last sentence.

- At SDU, we have a clear ambition: Our research must be credible, responsible and relevant to society. Research ethics and integrity are not something beside the research - they are the very foundation. That's why I'm very pleased with the new exhibition and the web universe, which ensures that our colleagues can easily orientate themselves in SDU's research ethics landscape, he said on the opening day.

Part of the HR Excellence initiative - how did you work with it?

The initiatives with the exhibition and the service page are part of SDU's HR Excellence efforts to support a good and professional research environment. The content is based on input from the workshop "Towards an even stronger research ethics profile at SDU", where key people in the field contributed.
