When you receive the grant letter

When you have received a grant letter, you must contact the research support unit at your faculty or in SDU RIO.

When you receive a grant letter, you must contact the Research Support Unit at your faculty.

If the grant letter concerns an EU grant, SDU RIO will assist you throughout the negotiation process.

Before an EU project can start, the following two agreements must be in place:

  • Grant Agreement
The contract with the European Commission.
  • Consortium Agreement (for multi-partner projects)
An agreement regulating the collaboration between the project partners.

Once an EU application has been selected for funding by the European Commission, both the coordinator and the partner institutions will receive an invitation to start contract negotiations.

Get started: Allocate roles in the EU portal

The first step after your project has been invited to negotiations is to grant access in the EU portal to SDU RIO: Tom Clausen tbcl@sdu.dk

How to grant access:

  • For SDU coordinator projects, access must be granted via “Coordinator Contact”.
  • For SDU partner projects, access must be granted via “Participant Contact”.

Access can be granted by any person who was involved in preparing the proposal.

What happens next

Once access has been granted, SDU RIO allocates contact to RIO Legal Services and contact to SDU Financial Services.

This is done in accordance with SDU procedures. You will be contacted with information about the next steps.
